Named after a Turkish bath at the end of the street where Penhaligon had his shop; it's the first scent created specifically for men, who before that only wore light colognes.
A rose scent, with added skank in the form of civet to emulate the male sweat (from the baths). Note that at that time, florals were considered manly.
