Created 1902 for the Duke of Malborough. Previous to this, all men's perfumes were florals. This is very dry, but fresh, long before aquatics. Worn by Winston Churchill.
 

No heart, just top, then base. 6 notes: lemon, lime, lavender, then  pine, musk as fixative and pepper.
