“Pleasantly Unremarkable”
MIYAKE : Eau d'Issey
by Cavallier (1992)
Pragmatic use of calone; brought a change from the 80s powerhouse.
It's very floral, a distinct flower, soliflor. It smells familiar, in-between orchids, with some toilet wipes and hints of sandalwood, light, fresh sandalwood. Some amber in the back. Actually slightly marine, freesia, white lilies and more sandalwood. Such a tame skin-like scent, but not a nice, sexy skin; just a plain skin. Some flowers, is it gardenia?
