HOUBIGANT : Quelques Fleurs
by Bienaimé (1912)
Possibly the first to use sparkling aldehydes. Defined the category of aldehyde florals (anticipating 5, Joy, Arpège). Missing link between the colognes and 1920s aldehydics.
Plasticky opening, fake plum wine. Stale beer on satin. Warm, but also fecal; some flower juiciness after all.
