“Cooler Cool Water”
CREED : Green Irish Tweed
by Creed (1985)
Formulated at a time when male scents where different. No advertisement, marketed at the guys who knew. Creed worked with Bourdon, who would later create DAVIDOFF: Cool Water (1988) (adding calone); upping the subtly used dihydromyrcenol. Formulated for Cary Grant. It's the Ur-Cool Water (sans the laundry musk), predated by BEENE: Grey Flannel (1975).
Very fresh, barbershop-like start; almost annoyingly green and acquatic and shaving cream.
powderdy (iris) citrus (verbena). Simple formulation.
